Oliver Clarke is the latest driver to be announced as an official Torq Racewear Athlete ahead of what is set to be an enthralling 2020 motorsport season.

Having inked a deal to graduate up into the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Hillspeed this year, the 17-year-old single seater ace will once again align himself with the reputable brand.

Mixing fashion with motorsport, Torq Racewear produces Italian handcrafted race suits that provide striking modern designs without compromising on safety, durability or performance.

With three different levels of race suits available, Torq ensures that competitors are able to find something to match their budget, catering from club motorsport right the way through to international events.

Clarke joins Mercedes AMG factory driver Adam Christodoulou and British Touring Car Championship race winners Tom Ingram and Adam Morgan in representing the popular racewear brand as an athlete – further underlining his talents and the promise he has showcased already in his relatively short career.

Commenting on becoming a fully-fledged Torq Athlete, Clarke said: “I’m really happy to finally announce that I will be an official athlete for Torq Racewear. I’ve worn Torq race suits for a number of years now so it is great to further extend this partnership.

I’m really happy to finally announce that I will be an official athlete for Torq Racewear. I’ve worn Torq race suits for a number of years now so it is great to further extend this partnership.

To be enlisted on their athlete programme alongside the likes of Adam Christodoulou and Tom Ingram, amongst many more, is something I am very proud of and will only serve me well moving forward in my career.

Preparations for my maiden BRDC British F3 campaign are coming together and this is the latest step in the right direction.

Martin Farmer, Torq Racewear Founder, added: “We are really proud to enlist Oliver into our Athlete programme as our first single seater driver. Bringing Oliver on-board was an easy decision to make; his impressive results in karting and the professional attitude that he is has off the track speaks volumes.

We feel that strong results combined with the right attitude not only make a motorsport career more likely, but it also reflects our brand perfectly. We’re looking forward to working with Oliver and hope that 2020 brings Torq, Oliver and Hillspeed plenty of success.

“I would also like to thank Will from Fewkes Sport Management for helping to get this deal across the line and helping to gain further exposure for Torq in our short history.
